Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a Cover Reveal and Giveaway ~ The Selkie Sorceress is Almost Here!

Upcoming Release: The Selkie Sorceress (Seal Island Trilogy, Book Three)

Author: Sophie Moss

Genre: Irish Fairy Tale/Fantasy Romance

Release Date: April 25, 2013

Book Designers: Blue Harvest Creative

The Seal Island Trilogy has a brand new look!

 Book Description:

American detective, Sam Holt, has a knack for finding people who shouldn't be found. When his last case almost killed an innocent woman, he swore off detective work forever. But when that same woman asks him for one last investigation--to find her husband's long lost mother--Sam cannot refuse. Sam hopes this case will prove to everyone on Seal Island, especially clairvoyant artist Glenna McClure, that he has changed. But what Sam doesn't realize is that the closer he gets to the truth, the more danger Glenna is in.

Glenna will do anything to stop Sam from finding this woman, even if it means teaming up with a powerful sorceress she knows she cannot trust. But when the petals of a mysterious night-blooming rose begin to turn black, Glenna realizes an even darker force is at work. To protect the island and the people she loves, Glenna will have to face a terrible curse that has haunted her all her life before the final petal fades to ash.

But first... I have a very special announcement to share. :)

The Seal Island Trilogy will be released in paperback very soon!

If the stars align, all three paperbacks will be available by April 25th. Thank you to everyone who asked for paperback versions and patiently waited for me to finish writing this trilogy. Thank you to Blue Harvest Creative, my amazing new design team, for creating these three new gorgeous covers and for helping me navigate the paperback process. 11. Well for St.Paddy's Day we plan to enjoy a wonderful corned beef dinner. It always seems to taste so much better on St. Patrick's Day! As far as fairy tales, there are so many...my husband's favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I tend to like the darker ones myself so I am going to say Edward Scissorhands. I love the dark romantic undertones of this movie!

  25. Today is my birthday, so I'm going to celebrate that instead of St. Patrick's Day. Actually, the truth is that I am a Pagan and I love Irish culture, so I don't agree with St. Patrick's Day. St. Patrick's legacy is destroying the Irish religion and nature-based traditions. He was upset because he had a bad run-in with a small group of Irish, and set off to convert all the "heathens." I don't believe in actively telling an entire country that their spirituality and traditions are heathen-ish, crude, evil, and wrong, and trying to replace them with the beliefs of another country. So, I say, let's rename the holiday Ireland Rocks Day.
